Water Pressure and Tank Elevation

A column of water has 1 psi for every 2.31 feet of height. This simple bit of information allows us to easily calculate the level of water in a tank if we know the pressure at the bottom of the tank or, calculate the pressure at the bottom of the tank if we know the water level in the tank.
